Steve Bean - Director of Golf Schools

Steve started his golf career at the Rancho Bernardo Inn & C. C. in San Diego in 1980. In the thirty
nine years since Steve has taught on the staffs of some of the worlds best golf instructors.

In 1988 Steve was on staff at Derek Hardy's California Academy of Golf. Derek at the time was
and still is teacher to many LPGA stars. Derek is also a Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher in the USA.

In 1994 Steve joined the Hank Haney Golf Instructional Staff of California. Mr. Haney worked as
the swing coach for Tiger Woods and many other tour players and is listed as a Golf Digest Top 5

In 2010 Steve was named Golf Instructor of the Year by the Professional Golf Teachers and
Coaches Assn. In the last thirty nine years Steve has helped players of all skill levels to
understand, improve and enjoy golf at a higher level.

Trevor Beard

Trevor has spent the past 5 years with Dick's Sporting Goods as sales and merchandise
manager. He is a certified club fitter and golf professional for Taylormade, Titleist, Ping
and Callaway.

Trevor played professional golf in south America and Canada as well as played on the tour. Trevor played college on at University of Illinois with Steve Stricker and
Mike Small.

Trevor has been a staff instructor for Southern California Golf Schools on the west coast.

Trevor bring a simple approach to instructor of golf mechanics , Balance, Alignment and
basic fundamentals.

Combining an impressive teaching credential with a resume of global playing experience and
58 professional tournament victories.  Jim has a unique skill set. He's balanced a career of
both competing and teaching, a rare blend of technical swing acumen and refined playing
talent. That translates to a resource loaded with information. Jim is currently doing our
"Play with a Tour Pro Schools" in San Diego, Palm Springs, Riverside and Beaumont.

teaching - his passion to guide golfers of all levels to their own personal goals. Whether those
goals are to just make contact or play competitive golf, Fred is exciting and fun to work with
and hits the ball a mile.
